Important notes

The Urgent Care Centre will assess and treat patients with minor to moderate illnesses or injuries which are not seriously life threatening and do not require treatment in the emergency department. If a GP or another member of our healthcare team believes hospital treatment or specialist care elsewhere is needed, they will ask the patient where and when they would like to go. Patients who require further treatment should contact their GP. The UCC does not provide follow-up appointments and, in most cases, will not refer the patient onward to other hospital services unless the need is very urgent. Facilities available: disabled access, disabled car parking, induction loop.
